Activities Week 2014
Activities Week is a special week in June, when Lower Sixth students have a break from timetabled lessons and take part instead in an action-packed week of activities.
The full programme of activities is advertised to all Lower Sixth students in around May and all Lowers are expected to sign up to at least one of the many activities on offer.
Activities on offer include both College-based activities and external trips. These include visits to theatres and places of historic interest, outdoor pursuits, personal fitness sessions, creative workshops and activities which will help with career planning.
Students may find themselves experiencing a Formula One motor racing session in a simulator, swinging through the treetops at Go-Ape, taking part in a Big Bus and River Cruise around London, indulging in a Chocolate Workshop, reliving the History of British Pop Music at the O2, undertaking a Basic Life Support Course or having a Dans le Noir dining experience!
College staff work tirelessly to make this week a memorable and enriching experience and their efforts don't go unnoticed! Students often comment how it's a great chance to try something new and get to know students from other courses.
