Students from Coulsdon College performed a charity gig at Coulsdon’s trendy Boxpark venue, helping to raise money to build a secondary school in Ghana.

The event was organised by former Coulsdon student Fuse ODG a talented Producer and recording artist in conjunction with the College’s Music Department.

“With an audience of over 400 people, it was a wonderful event to showcase the diverse talent of our students.” Said Mike Goodlet, Head of Music and Performing Arts at the College.

For Barucha who’s studying Music Performance at Coulsdon, it was a great opportunity to develop her event management and organisational skills.

Paula Rose who studied at the Lanfranc Academy before coming to Coulsdon to do BTEC’s in Music Performance and Business plus an A Level in English, hopes to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter “Performing on stage at the Boxpark event was amazing, it gave me such a buzz and confirmed my dream of becoming a singer/songwriter”.
