Why did you apply to Coulsdon Sixth Form College?
After looking around at an open event, I liked the atmosphere and the staff were really approachable. Also, I have dyslexia and the support on offer looked positive.
How have you found the support here?
I was offered as much as needed initially but I am currently coping without it. I can always pop back if I need it.
How have the teachers supported you?
They assist with coursework and create resources to ensure we can complete our work to the best of our ability. A lot of effort is made by the teachers to ensure you get as much as you can from the course.
I hear you are involved in a number of sports outside of College?
Yes, I play hockey for Purley Walcountians Men’s 1st team. That means training twice a week plus matches. I also play cricket for Outwood Cricket Club which is also twice a week for training. Hockey is my preferred sport and I’ve played since I was young.
What advice would you give students looking to apply here?
Follow what you really want to do and it’s really not that scary.
