The Level 2 BTEC Business course provides a practical introduction to business, covering key areas such as marketing, finance, enterprise, and customer service, while developing essential employability skills, including communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Examples of units learners will study include Unit 1 Enterprise in the Business World Unit 2: Finance for Business, and Unit 3: Promoting a Brand. These units provide learners with practical experience in financial planning and the key skills required to manage people and business operations effectively. Learners make strong progress through clear teaching, regular feedback and a supportive learning environment.
3 GCSEs grade 9-3 (A*-D) or a related Level 1 vocational qualification including, English and maths. Equivalence of these
qualifications will be considered.
Key features of the Level 2 Diploma in Business include direct Employer Engagement through live briefs, trips, competitions, and placements, providing valuable connections with local and national employers. Students have the opportunity to showcase their work on Moodle, with competitions for the best websites and animations.Collaborative Learning is encouraged through blogs and forums for idea sharing and peer assessments, enhancing teamwork skills.
On completion, they can progress to Level 3 Business, apprenticeships, or employment in a wide range of business-related careers.
