Course Overview

The aims of this qualification are to:

  • Meet the needs of students who work or want to work as Air Cabin Crew in the Aviation sector.
  • Allow students to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the Aviation sector.
  • To provide a broad background of understanding of the aviation sector and the vocational skills required.

Course Highlights

Students will learn about the role of Cabin Crew and airline emergency procedures. Students will take part in regular role play activities in the classroom aircraft cabin.

Career Opportunities & Further Study

This course prepares students for progression to our BTEC level 3 courses in Travel and Tourism and Aviation Operations, as well as a good foundation for a Cabin Crew apprenticeships and other employment within the aviation industry.

Entry Requirements & Assessment

Assessment:

This course is 100% coursework and will be assessed by a range of methods from presentations, group work and written work.

Entry Requirements:

Two 2 and three 3 grades at GCSE including English and Mathematics minimum Grade 2 or equivalent qualifications (a Pass or higher at BTEC Level 2 is accepted as part of the GCSE Grades).
