Course Highlights
In the first year of the course students will be introduced to:
Markets and market failure – Students will consider how markets work, looking at how supply and demand interact to allocate resources in local, national and international markets.
The UK economy – performance and policies – Students will be introduced to the aggregate demand/aggregate supply model so that they can use it to analyse changes in real output and the price level.
Career Opportunities & Further Study
Students can progress onto university, apprenticeships and employment following this course.

Entry Requirements:
learners will typically have five GCSE’s at A* to C (9-1), including English and maths.
Maths must be a minimum of grade 5.
