I chose this science course because I’ve always been curious about how the world works. I enjoy practical experiments, solving problems and learning how things function on a deeper level. Science has always been my favourite subject, so studying it in more detail felt like the right choice for my future.
I chose Coulsdon Sixth Form College because it has a great reputation for science and the facilities are amazing. The college is also easy to get to, and when I visited on an Open Day, the atmosphere felt really friendly and supportive. It just felt like the perfect place for me.
I really enjoy the practical side of the course—doing experiments in the labs and seeing science in action. The classes are engaging, and my teacher makes the subject interesting and easy to understand. I also enjoy working with my classmates because we motivate each other and share the same enthusiasm.
The teaching is excellent. The teachers explain things clearly and make lessons interactive. If I ever get stuck, I know I can ask for help, and they always take the time to support me. It makes learning a lot more enjoyable and less stressful.
After this course, I plan to go to university to study a sciencerelated subject. I’m interested in careers in healthcare, biomedical science or research, and studying science here is helping me figure out the best path.
