T-Levels

T levels are a new type of qualification in England that are equivalent to three A levels. They combine classroom learning with practical experience gained through an industry placement of at least 315 hours (approximately 45 days). T levels were introduced to provide young people with the knowledge and skills needed to progress into skilled employment, higher-level technical study, or apprenticeships.

 

Business Management & Administration - T Level

This T Level programme has been designed in collaboration with employers and industry leaders, ensuring that the skills and knowledge you acquire are directly aligned with the demands of the business world. It effectively prepares you for a successful career in business management and administration.

Digital Business Services - T Level - September Start

The qualification is structured into 2 component parts: -Core component – you will acquire knowledge of underpinning concepts, theories and principles as well as core skills for the digital sector. -Occupational specialism: Data technician – cover the skills and knowledge required to enter employment within the digital sector. Subjects you will cover include: – Business context – Culture – Data analysis – Digital business environments – Diversity & inclusion – how to manipulate data ethically. – Security protocols – Legislation.

Health Care Science - T Level

Students will develop an understanding of a broad range of issues relevant to the sector. The College runs a number of educational experiences each year to enable students to contextualise their learning. These experiences include trips, work experience and presentations by visiting speakers. Students undertaking this course will be expected to complete a work placement within an engineering based company.

Science - T Level

The purpose of the level 3 technical qualification is to ensure students have the knowledge and skills needed to progress into skilled employment or higher level technical training relevant to the T Level. The technical qualification is split into 2 component parts: Core component: -route core component -pathway core component Occupational specialism components: -Technical: Laboratory Sciences -Technical: Food Sciences -Technical: Metrology Sciences Students will only complete one occupational specialism. The occupational specialisms provide students with knowledge and skills required to enter employment or further study in the specific occupational area.
