On Tuesday 29 January, BTEC Music students took to the stage at Project B in Croydon. Putting their practice into reality, the students played to a packed audience of parents, teachers, students and the general public.
Music student’s coursework relies heavily on the experiences outside of the classroom. Playing to a live audience is a great way to hone their performance skills.
Music Technology students were also involved. They took on the behind the scenes roles, from lighting to audio levels, the students are in charge.
Head of Music Fiona Brennan said, ‘Events such as these are so important for their studies but also their confidence in the workplace.’
