Coulsdon Sixth Form College bids a fond farewell to Principal Richard Beales as he retires and welcomes new Principal Odette Carew.
Ms Carew joins from Newham College where she was Director of Curriculum.
Richard Beale, who has retired after thirty years in education, with the last ten at Coulsdon Sixth Form College, said: “It has been a privilege to work with, and more recently lead, the teachers, support staff and managers who, day after day, are committed to and passionate about seeing young people develop, achieve their qualifications and move on to their next steps in education, employment and adult life. I believe that our success has been built on a commitment to teamwork and hard work, creating a supportive and inclusive community for the young people who come here.
“For Coulsdon Sixth Form College, I am delighted to leave it in good hands and in a really strong position as part of Croydon College.
“For me, it has been a great place to work and I’m certainly going to miss it.”
