On Wednesday 11 November, Coulsdon College staff and students paid their respects to those who have sadly lost their lives and those who continue to fight for our freedoms to this day with a traditional 2 minute silence at 11am.
Public Services students, Ben Roberts and Jamie Wilson were nominated to lay the poppy wreath at our memorial that is situated at the front of the College. The College took this moment to honour former Purley Boys pupils who died during the conflict.
Interim Coulsdon College Principal, Steve Gooch said, ‘It was very moving to pause and reflect on times that were even more challenging than our current troubles. The silence was well observed throughout the College’.
