BTEC Performing Arts students and BTEC Art and Design students have excelled themselves again this year with their collaborative efforts in putting together a College pantomime.
The production contains all the elements of a traditional pantomime: Petulant princess, witless suitor, sinister baddies, fortune tellers and on this occasion, a comical charasmatic genie. Shadow puppetry and an extremely well rehearsed and presented dance troup added to the show, and imaginative scenery, props and costumes contribted to an extremely slick, professional performance.
Daytime performances to local schools have sent schoolchildren off in a high state of excitement. Evening performances to parents and local families have had a similar effect.
