The ScreenSkills Apprenticeship Programme is now open for applicants. There are 20 places open for film and TV apprentices where the Apprenticeship will last between 14 and 17 months. All apprentices will receive a full time wage of £19,565 (the London living wage) for a 35-hour week.
The Apprenticeships will include work placements with Netflix and the WarnerMedia Group, alongside training with specialist training providers. The Royal Television Society is a proud supporter of the initiative with free membership for all successful applicants.
This is part of a new scheme supported by the Government’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport that aims to help more people get into the Film and TV industries without needing a degree.
You do not need any previous Film or TV experience to apply for these apprenticeships. All that is required is a GCSE in Maths and English as well as a passion for the industry.
Applications are taken through the ScreenSkills website by clicking the ‘Apply now’ button at the bottom of the page. The deadline is Sunday 22 March 2020 at midnight, so get your application in now! If you are struggling to complete your application, or require access support, please email support@screenskills.com.
