Lower Sixth Art and Design students enjoyed selling their Christmas produce at the Woodcote High School fair on Thursday 24 November. They sold handmade Christmas card, wrapping paper and gift tags, all printed on Himalayan handmade paper; designs were based on natural seasonal forms, for example, trees, berries, leaves and twigs. BTEC Art and Design student Hassan Horack said that it was a useful experience, “It was a bit like The Apprentice. As well as designing and making the product, it gave us an insight into how to run a business and a chance to try out our selling skills. We made a profit, which will be used towards next year’s project.”
