We are delighted to share the wonderful news that Belen Fernandez, an alumnus, has been honored with the prestigious Mayor’s Special Award at the CYSN (Croydon Children & Young People’s Services Network) Awards at Braithwaite Hall.

This award recognises individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, achievements, and service to the community, and Belen’s remarkable journey embodies these qualities in every way.
During her time at Coulsdon Sixth Form College, Belen was our Student Governor and a Student Ambassador, as well as a mentor to the lower-year groups.
As she prepares for her next academic journey at the University of Lincoln, where she will be studying musical theatre, we do not doubt that her success story will continue to unfold.
This award is not only a celebration of past achievements but also an encouragement for future accomplishments.
At Coulsdon Sixth Form College, we strive to nurture students who are not only academically capable but also socially conscious and community-focused. This reward serves as a reminder of the significant impact our students can have both within the college and in the wider world.
We congratulate Belen, and we look forward to seeing all she’ll achieve in the future!
