Coulsdon College swept the board in the over-17 age category at the 2017 Rotary Club of Croydon Photography Competition, winning first prize, runner-up and the people’s choice award.

This annual competition is an amazing opportunity to showcase the work of the College’s photography students, and images from both BTEC and A Level Photography students are currently on display in the Click Clock Gallery in Croydon.

This year’s theme was ‘My kind of town’ which inspired some truly breath-taking images. First prize of a day out with a professional photographer went to Isabella Warnham for her exciting street photography. Dhunveer Luckputtya was runner-up with his beautiful observations of India, and Rhianna Clack was the resounding winner of the public vote for her photographs of life at sea.

Photography teacher Neal Vaughan was over the moon with the results: ‘I am so proud of them all; the entries were outstanding and truly reflect the diversity of expression they have achieved in photography this year.’
