A Level Photography students were invited at the end of last term to enter a Photography Competition depicting student life here at Coulsdon College. The fruits of their labour are currently on display in the Atrium and there’s much discussion amongst staff and students as to who the winners are.
An announcement of the top three will be made week commencing 26 September and a presentation made by Brett Freeman, College Principal. The prizes are:
1st – £50 Amazon voucher
2nd – £25 Amazon voucher
3rd – £15 Amazon voucher
First and Second prize winners will be given the opportunity to become the official student photographers for this academic year.
Neal Vaughan, Photography Course Leader says, “the students were very keen to get involved in this competition. The opportunity to take photos at events then edit and file photos for use by the College gives them a fantastic opportunity to experience what it is like working in a professional environment. Many of the students want to go on to study Photography and Graphics at University, so this is an ideal opportunity to add to their portfolio.”
