As part of their campaign to improve Government funding for youth mental health, representatives of the Students’ Union attended a Croydon Citizens event on Tuesday 23rd January.
During the session, they had the opportunity to share their campaign, explaining why it’s important, what they think needs changing and how to bring about that change. As a result of their powerful presentations, the students received the full support of everyone present.
With local elections coming up in May, the students also used the event as a chance to work with other community groups to devise a plan for engaging with the council about the campaign.
The students who represented the College were Michelle Maguire, Will Storey, Orion Hall-Turner, Connor Hull and Katie Morley.
