On Tuesday 12th June, students at Coulsdon Sixth Form College were treated to a visit from Fulham FC when they bought in their latest win. The EFL Play-Off Final Trophy was on display in the Atrium for staff and students to view and have their picture taken with it.
Fulham Coach Mark Tiller commented, ‘It is great to showcase the Trophy at Coulsdon where we have our Football & Education Programme.’ Students enjoyed standing, lifting and taking pictures of themselves alongside the trophy.
The Fulham Football & Education Programme has been resident at the College for a couple of years.
Trials for Academy places have already started and successful students also have to pass the College’s interview process to be allowed onto the programme. They receive a minimum of 6 hours of training a week plus matches. They play in the National Youth Football League and can also be selected to play for Fulham’s Representative Team.
