Financial Support

The College receives funding from the Education and Skills Funding Agency to offer a bursary scheme aimed at supporting students with a total household income of £30,000 or less. This bursary provides financial assistance to help remove specific barriers to education enabling you to stay in or return to learning. Support may include contributions towards transport, meals, essential kits or equipment, course materials, educational trips and childcare on the days you attend College. Any support awarded will be subject to the terms and conditions outlined in our bursary application form.

The information provided on your application will enable us to determine which fund you are eligible to receive support from, and the amount and type of support you are eligible for.

The funds are available are to support with college costs only and based on individual circumstances. Funds are limited and each application is processed on a first come first served basis once a student’s enrolment is confirmed.

Our Student Services team are responsible for the administration of the College’s bursary funds for students and other government schemes.

You will be asked to provide evidence of your circumstances, and we cannot process your application without this. If you don’t provide everything that we ask for we will contact you, but this will delay your application being processed.

Once you have registered on the online portal you will be able to access your account and view any correspondence that we send you, the status of your application, and information about your payments if your application is approved.
