Our Full Time Football Academy teams are definitely starting strong this season. The girls’ team travelled to Barnet FC training ground, where they made it to the finals losing 1- 0 to Tottenham girls U19s in the last 45 seconds of the match but went on to beat Leyton college 7-0 and West Ham U 19s 6-0.
The tournament’s top players were Megan Perkins and Shania Forbes, who scored eight goals for us.
Meanwhile, our U19s boys’ team is sitting at the top of their league after beating
West Thames College 10-2.
Next our FTF football academy players will be off to Dagenham and Redbridge FC for the National Cup.
Let us hope they take out the competition and bring us back another win.
