Criminology - Level 3

In this course, you’ll explore all aspects of crime from a social perspective, examining its root causes, societal impact, and gaining insights into the individuals who commit these acts. Geography - A Level

Geography helps you understand your role in a rapidly globalising world and tackles complex, interconnected issues such as global systems, governance, and natural hazards. History - A Level

This course builds on your school knowledge, starting with studies of Russia (1917–1991) and China (1949–1976) in the first year. In the second year, you’ll choose a British History focus, such as military or imperial history, Anglo-Irish relations, or the Wars of the Roses, along with a coursework assignment worth 20% of your A Level..

Law - BTEC Level 3

This course examines the workings of the law, including how laws are created and the people involved in the legal process. In the first year, you’ll explore topics such as Dispute Resolution, Understanding Law-Making, and Aspects of Legal Liability. The second year focuses on specialist units, including Homicide and Police Powers, Contract Law, and Tort Law.

Law - A Level

This course develops your understanding of the English legal system, covering both private and public law in England and Wales. Key topics include the Nature of Law, Criminal Law, Tort, and Human Rights. You’ll explore different sources of law and examine its role in society, along with themes of law and morality, justice, and the rule of law.

Politics - A Level

You’ll explore the key features of government and political systems on local, national, and international levels. Prior study in this subject isn’t required, but a strong interest in politics and current affairs is essential. Topics covered include UK Politics, UK Government, Core Political Ideas, and American Politics.

Sociology - GCSE

In Sociology, you’ll explore human behaviour and how life chances are shaped by factors like wealth, gender, and ethnicity. You’ll uncover fascinating insights into modern Britain and beyond, examining hidden injustices and encountering radical perspectives on key social issues.

Sociology - A Level
