On Friday 27th September, the staff and students at Coulsdon Sixth Form College baked, bought and sold various sweet treats in order to raise money for Macmillan, the nationwide cancer support charity.

Both cake sales were a success, in which the students raised £64, and the staff raised £200! All proceedings will be sent off to Macmillan to further their supporting services for all those affected by cancer.

David Allan, Senior Tutor, was extremely impressed with all those involved with the student cake sale, and was overwhelmed with how much was raised.

Macmillan Coffee Mornings are now the largest and longest-standing fundraising event of its kind in the UK, therefore, it is important to get involved!
