New students have already hit the ground running with a busy start to the academic year. Induction Days were held for Level 2 and Lower Sixth Level 3 students on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th September respectively, during which they were welcomed to the College, given their timetables and introduced to the various IT systems they will be using. With ‘business’ completed, students then took part in a series of fun team-building activities on the back field. Challenges included walking along planks of wood to get from one point to another and picking up a bucket without touching it and using only ropes for assistance!
The Freshers’ Fair was held on 13th September, with the Students Union on hand to add their welcome to students, offer advice, and introduce some of the many extra-curricular activities the College has to offer. Christel Hartland, Associate Principal, commented: ‘We are delighted with the start this year’s cohort of students have made and wish them every success during their time at the College and beyond.’
