A Level Photography student, Annika Schwaderer had the photography experience of her life this week when she attended the Mayor’s Parlour in Croydon for a photo shoot.  Annika, who is studying A Level photography and BTEC Art and Design, won this honour as a result of entering the South Croydon Rotary Photography Competition last term.

She spent half a day taking photographs of the Mayor, Councillor Wayne Trakas-Lawlor and was assisted and advised by Councillor Tim Pollard, who is a professional photographer.

“It was an amazing experience,” enthused Annika, “I’ve learnt a lot and really enjoyed working with some high quality equipment which Councillor Tim Pollard kindly provided.  The Mayor was so pleased with my photographs that he has selected one to use for his Facebook profile picture.”
