You came to College on an Exchange Programme from Germany, what prompted the exchange?

I’ve been interested in fashion forever and worked for the fashion label Maison Suneve in Germany; it was my boss who said I should go to the UK because I couldn’t study fashion in Germany. My next step was to find an exchange programme.

What did the application process involve?

I found an organisation in Germany who sourced colleges. I just gave them all my details, what I wanted to study and they found a couple which suited my needs. From there I applied like any other student.

What is the best thing about the Exchange?

I’ve enjoyed meeting new people and learning new things. I have more confidence and found I can be more creative using the new skills I’ve learnt.

What will you take away from the programme?

I’m excited by the new skills and creativity which I’ll be taking back to Germany.

What are your plans now?

I’m going back to Germany to finish College. Then I want to come back to London to study fashion.

How have you found the support at College?

My teachers have been really helpful and supportive. I’ve not had a problem with the language but did start the Foreign Language enrichment class just in case!
