You’re studying four A Levels. How have you found the workload?

There’s a big jump from GCSE’s to A Levels, but I’ve enjoyed the challenge. There’s a lot more independent learning, and I’ve enjoyed that, but there’s always been a lot of support on hand if you need it here at Coulsdon College. I’ll probably be dropping one of the A Levels at the end of the Lower Sixth, so that I can concentrate on getting three good grades.

Which is your favourite subject?

I really enjoy Psychology. It’s very different from my other subjects as there are a lot of facts to learn. Evidence and evaluation are important; there’s a lot of debate in the classes which makes it very interesting. Our teachers illustrate with lots of anecdotes which brings the science alive. It was a shot in the dark to choose this subject as it was completely new to me, but I’m glad that I did.

Do you travel far to come to College?

I travel from Selsdon, taking two buses and it takes about an hour, but it’s well worth it. I love the creative atmosphere here. I also like the fact that we are largely based in one building, so it feels like a big family home, and there’s not much scope for getting lost!
