Thursday 19th April saw Duke of Edinburgh students use the great weather to test equipment before their expedition next week. From erecting tents to safely using the camping stoves to first aid training, the students really put their skills to the test to ensure the expedition is a success.
Duke of Edinburgh coordinator Greg Saunders commented, ‘It is really important that students get as much practice as possible so they can successfully complete the final expedition for their D of E award.’ Students seemed to relish in the training and cannot wait to put all their hard work into practice this weekend.
