The first ever staff versus students netball match took place on Wednesday 10th May.
Steve Gooch Head of College, lead out the staff team which also included Sports teachers Ben Chambers, Jason Gentles and Clair Priest, Careers Officer Tina Jones, Business teacher Phil Castile and English Teacher Kadian Facey.
The first quarter was a closely matched competition, with the teams drawing 2-2. Following some changes of position, the staff team sprung to life with excellent attacking play to take the match 21-14. Clair Priest was awarded Staff Player of the Match whilst Student of the Match went to BTEC Sport, Business and Public Services student Gidayja Porter.
