Students on the BTEC Extended Travel and Tourism Diploma have been learning about UK visitor attractions. In order for them to experience two different types of visitor attractions, they have recently been on a trip to Drusilla’s Park and Beachy Head.

At Drusilla’s, students were treated to a presentation from a member of Drusilla’s staff on the running of visitor attractions, as well as a tour of the park which involved petting a very active rat snake as well as the Chincillas. By contrast, the visit to Beachy head, gave students an impression of a much more natural attraction, with its iconic, dramatic white chalk cliffs and lighthouse on the edge of the South Downs National Park.
