The Arts sector in the UK contributes over £90 billion to the economy. Visual Arts is a diverse sector with lots of opportunities for those with creative flair, such as traditional art forms painting, illustration, fashion and graphic design.

 

Art & Design - Level 3

This course provides in-depth knowledge across Fine Art, Design, and Textiles, with a flexible structure tailored to your interests and goals. You’ll have opportunities for experiential learning, including gallery trips, outdoor drawing, photoshoots, and external competitions. The course also features talks by local designers and artists, enriching your creative experience.

Fashion & Textiles - A Level

You will be introduced to a range of different textile approaches; stitch, print and constructed. These techniques will be developed to produce fashion, textile, art and interior outcomes.

Fine Art - A Level

This challenging course encourages you to channel your creativity into individual investigations, exploring themes through the work of past and contemporary artists. You’ll develop practical skills in drawing, painting, printmaking, 3D work, and more experimental techniques. It’s designed to stimulate your creative growth and artistic expression.

Graphic Design - A level

Graphic Design is about communicating ideas visually through the effective use of words and images. This A-Level is a practical course focused on developing your visual communication skills. You’ll learn to express personal design concepts creatively and innovatively.

Photography - GCSE

This course covers topics such as photography techniques, composition, focus, lighting, experimental photography, and photograms. You’ll explore various areas of photography, including documentary, photo-journalism, studio, location, and experimental photography. You’ll be required to work creatively with different processes and techniques
