Partner with Croydon College: Shape the Future Workforce

At Croydon College, we’re committed to giving our students the best possible start in their careers — and you play a vital role in making that happen.

Our students are preparing to enter a wide range of industries, equipped with enthusiasm, ambition, and up-to-date knowledge. But to truly bridge the gap between education and employment, we need real-world input from employers like you

By offering a work or industry placement, you’ll not only help develop the next generation of professionals — you’ll gain fresh perspectives, valuable support, and the opportunity to shape young talent to fit your sector’s needs.

Why Partner With Us?

Bringing a student into your team can provide unexpected benefits:

  • Fresh ideas and energy from young, motivated individuals
  • Up-to-date knowledge from the latest technical and academic training
  • A client-first perspective from digital-savvy learners
  • Extra support for your team and projects
  • Opportunities for your staff to mentor and lead

And we’ll support you every step of the way. Our dedicated Work Placement Team will match you with the right student and help you structure the placement to suit your business goals.

Placement Options – Flexible Ways to Get Involved

Option 1: T Level Industry Placements

  • 315 hours minimum (or 750 hours for Early Years students)
  • Students must complete these placements to finish their course
  • Ideal for organisations looking to:
    • Develop future talent
    • Recruit for entry-level roles
    • Gain a new perspective
    • Support staff development through mentoring

💼 We’ll help plan the timeline, objectives, and logistics – from start to finish.

Option 2: Mandatory Course-Based Placements

  • 1–2 days per week
  • Duration varies depending on the course
  • Perfect for businesses who can host a student regularly over a term

If you’re ready to support a student’s learning journey while gaining an enthusiastic extra pair of hands, we’d love to hear from you.

Option 3: 5-Day Placements

Some of our students don’t require mandatory placements — but a short, focused 5-day placement can still make a big difference.

These placements are ideal for:

  • Introducing young people to your industry
  • Trialling potential future hires
  • Getting fresh input on short-term projects

Option 4: Employer Engagement Activities

Not ready for a full placement? No problem! You can still inspire and influence students by getting involved in other ways:

Guest Talk 1 hour Share insights about your career, sector, or company.
