Key Stages Before You Start

Advisory & Results Support

When you receive your GCSE results, our team will be ready to help you confirm your chosen programme or explore alternatives if your grades differ from what you expected. Whatever your situation, we’ll help you find the right pathway.

Enrolment

Once you’ve received your course offer, you’ll be invited to enrol. This is where you officially secure your place at Coulsdon. You’ll receive full instructions by email — so please make sure we have your correct details.

Induction

During your induction, you will:

  • Receive your timetable (if you haven’t already)
  • Learn how to use essential systems like Microsoft Teams and Moodle
  • Meet your tutor and your new classmates
  • Apply for bursaries or additional support if needed

You’ll also have the chance to join welcome activities across campus and begin settling into sixth form life.

What to Bring on Your First Day

Your tutor will confirm any subject-specific items, but you should generally bring:

  • A notebook and stationery
  • Your student ID (if already issued)
  • A water bottle
  • Lunch or money for the canteen

Your First Day Experience

Your first day will include a tour of the campus, an introduction to your study programme, and time to get familiar with our digital platforms. It’s the perfect opportunity to ask questions, get organised and meet the people who will support your journey.
