I chose this course because I find art really calming and enjoyable. After a busy GCSE schedule it gave me the opportunity to focus on something I genuinely enjoy at A level.
I wanted a change from the structure of secondary school and had heard really positive things about Coulsdon. It felt like a place where I could be more independent while still being supported.
I really enjoy the freedom to experiment with different materials and ideas as well as the connections I’ve made with classmates.
The teaching is great. The staff are very supportive and clearly passionate about what they do which makes learning more enjoyable and easier to understand.
I’m interested in progressing into areas such as architecture, engineering or astrophysics.
I would definitely recommend Coulsdon to anyone looking for more freedom in their education while still having a supportive and encouraging environment
