BTEC Certificate in IT L2
On this course you will improve your knowledge of editing software, use digital communication technologies, create an animation, design and website and learn to code and more! Learners develop both technical and employability skills through practical assignments and projects, preparing them for further study or entry-level roles in the IT sector.
Four GCSEs grade 9-2 and a satisfactory school reference. Including English Language at grade 2 and maths at grade 2 as a minimum.
This qualification aims to inspire and enthuse learners to consider a career in the Information and Creative Technology sector. You will build problem-solving and communication skills.
The BTEC Level 1/Level 2 First Certificate in Information and Creative Technology provides the knowledge, skills, and understanding for Level 2 learners to progress to:
- Other Level 2 vocational qualifications and related competence-based qualifications for the Information and Creative Technology sector
- Level 3 vocational qualifications, such as BTEC Nationals, specifically the Pearson BTEC Level 3 National in Information and Creative Technology.
This course is assessed through 75% internal assessment of coursework and 25% external exam. The exam board for this course is Edexcel.
