Business A Level
This course encourages the practical application of business concepts by exploring events in the business world and relating these of theories and practice. You will cover topics such as entrepeneurship, starting a business, marketing and human resources. You will also look at the wider influences on businesses through strategic planning, finance and the economy.
Five GCSEs grade 9-4 and a satisfactory school reference. Including English Language at grade 5 and maths at grade 6 as a minimum.
Students will also look at the wider influences on businesses through strategic planning, finance and the economy. They will have the opportunity to complete group work and conduct independent research ahead of the final year exam, enabling them to develop the transferable skills required in higher education or employment.
After completing this course, students can pursue degree courses in Business Administration or related areas like Management Science, Accountancy, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources and Banking. A Level qualification in Business can provide students with essential knowledge and set them apart from other job applicants.
The course is assessed purely by examination and covers dynamic topics such as Entrepreneurship, Starting a Business, Marketing and Human Resources.
